From quick grab-and-go options to leisurely café experiences, from healthy wraps to comforting hot meals, our brands cover the full spectrum of dining needs in healthcare settings. Each of our outlets is carefully crafted to enhance the overall experience of patients, staff, and visitors alike.

Central Catering

Our flagship food offering Central Catering is based in two of our hospital locations Newcastle and Tamworth Hospital. Offering a range of food from breakfast, lunch, dinner and in between all in line with the Live Life well policy incorporating a variety of western, Asian fusion, Noodle bar, fresh salad bars, hot Mediterranean cuisine and grilled healthy burgers and cooked to order menu offerings. Central also boasts an onsite Pastry Chef who bakes fresh goods daily to supply all the outlets based in the Hospital locations. Our catering arm also extends across 4 NSW Hospitals and offsite, providing a popular all day catering option with great ready to order menus and also offer a flexible Chef tailored menu upon request. No request is out of reach.

Baratza

Baratza is our signature brand café outlet with five locations now based in John Hunter Hospital, Royal Newcastle Centre, Belmont, Tamworth, and Maitland. Baratza prides itself in offering the best Barista made organic blend coffee with our chef baked gourmet toasties, Turkish melts, muffins, slices, cakes and an endless range of our baked in house delicacies. These locations pride themselves on offering the most efficient and fresh product and service taking into accounts the urgency and time allocated for breaks in a hospital environment.

Sista Wrap

Sista Wrap is a fresh bowl wrap smoothie & juice bar located in the Royal Newcastle Centre is a favourite operating during the morning and lunch periods. This site was established in 2013 in the Royal Newcastle Centre of the John Hunter hospital.

GOGO

GOGO is based near the main entrance to the John Hunter hospital this café offers a slice of all our other major outlets in one location. A selection of hot breakfast lunch and dinner options prepared by our Central Chefs, with our organic blend coffee, fresh made to order wrap sandwich bar, cold beverages, take home meals and sushi packs in a quick and easy grab and go style operation.

Woods & Co

Established in 2022, Woods & Co is a model café ahead of its time. Unique to all other design concepts Woods offers it all, with an aesthetically pleasing to the eye glorious food display, fresh baked and presented grab and go or dine in options. This café represents something you would enjoy in an upmarket eatery anywhere in the world. We proudly boast a full menu from breakfast, salads, hot and cold meals, healthy bakes, and sweet house baked treats. There really isn’t anything Woods doesn’t offer. Daily the Chef made to order menu is also a popular offering with efficient wait times and an app for those on the go to order ahead.

Go Go Market

Go Go Market is our one stop mini market shop. Offering gifts items, fresh flowers, balloons, grab n go fresh made foods, cold drinks, book store, news and magazines. We also offer emergency items, reading specs, chargers and essential grocery needs for convenience. You name it we have it and if we don’t we will source it for next time.

Baby B

A cute little mini coffee bar operational from the John Hunter Hospital. This coffee spot is a daily haunt for many, offering 2 coffee blends for those who have a taste for a new coffee experience. Baby is a place where you go and they know who you are by name, your order and are basically extended family. Offering a bit of everything, Baby has treats made fresh in house by Central Catering, from muffins, slices, fresh made sandwiches, wraps, rolls, meals to go, cold drinks and more.
